People are mistaking Christianity for Catholic and it annoys me because, people always say there a Christian when they believe In God, but that is wrong because that is literally how cathlolism is. Someone says they believe in God and they are praised but when someone says there a Christian there instantly shat on.

Christianity thinks the Crucifixion was a good thing, or a bad thing?

Why do Christians say Jesus was crucified?

+Capn Bananers No Christians think its a good thing. Christ sacrificed himself so we dont have to sacrifice sheep any more. Good thing.

You say Jesus died so that no more sheep had to die... Yet, of Jesus own disciples Peter, Paul, Andrew, Thomas, Philip, Bartholemew, James, Simon, Matthias, and possibly Matthew were all sacrificed, teaching the good news of Jesus. Only John definitely died of old age.

And John wrote Revelations.
Can you explain Revelations 6:9-11

You claim that no more sheep have to be sacrificed, but according to this passage Christians MUST be sacrificed for the word of God, and the testimony they uphold.

Also explain this: Zechariah 11:15-16
Does this passage refer to Jesus, or to John, or perhaps to someone else? Who is the foolish shepherd? Any shepherd, I think, who gives a testimony inconsistent with their own beliefs, is a foolish shepherd. Any shepherd who gives a testimony that promotes a childish fear of hell encouraging people to scatter and divide against each other.

I don't doubt that part of the intended purpose that Jesus had for allowing his own crucifixion was to eventually make it so sheep didn't have to die. But then, why do so many evangelical Christians seem so easily goaded by politicians who invoke rumors of conspiracy and fear that compel them to be eager to kill instead of listen?
